Welcome back again, guys. This is Dio again. I remember about watching that awesome X-Files movie (the first one, albeit known as "X-Files : Fight The Future"). Great to see Mulder and Scully went after mysterious group and also alien involvement with it. Not to mentioned that memorable, yet intense "Bee Swarm in Cornfield" scene or even alien mothership buried deep down the arctic pole. Although the ending was not satisfied and hoping that there will be more coming, but what I liked was the song which used in the end credits. The song, which entitled "Teotihuacan", was composed by Noel Gallagher from Oasis. It's a cool song though, its ambiences and melodies somehow reminds me of what dark and realistic spy fiction or techno thriller movie should be feels like. The instrumental itself was also used as base melody of "Keep What Ya' Got" by Ian Brown (which also Noel composed and collaborated with). Anyway, here's the song if you want to listen to it. It's mind blowing for me to realise that it is almost exactly 20 years since Porcupine Tree made their first ever live appearance, at a small club called the Nag's Head in High Wycombe, UK on the 4th December 1993. To commemorate the anniversary here is a recording from the archives of the first song played at that first ever show, the Van Der Graaf Generator / Dead Can Dance sampling, David Gilmour meets The Orb fusion of Voyage 34 (years before he did actually collaborate with The Orb!), the birth of PT as a band and a performing entity.  It was recorded straight from the mixing desk so the balance is a bit strange, but actually considering how nervous we must have all been, it's not bad at all.

The Holy created much interest whilst simultaneously earning the plaudits for their This Will Be The Day That I Die single/video this Spring. The band follow that with a new single Ramses The Evil Brother. Taken from their forthcoming debut EP More Escher and Random Notes  (which drops via Soliti early August), Ramses The Evil Brother add's a more linear Krautrock vibe to the band's unashamed rock palate, while the intensity of the whole venture brings things to a satisfactory conclusion.

Ramses The Evil Brother's video follows Kamila Kurkus as she navigates between lush green surroundings to a bare post-apocalyptic setting. The video, directed by Haliz Muhilden, perfectly chimes with the urgent tone of the song.
