"Altaira" is a song about being drawn to someone who seems perfect but remains unreachable. Altaira represents a mysterious, dazzling figure who controls the game yet is trapped in their own illusion. They are cold, untouchable, their light blinds but does not warm. The protagonist is drawn to them but realizes it’s just a mirage - an ideal that can never be held. This is a story of power, illusions, and the impossibility of true connection in a world where everyone plays a role.

It speaks to the exhaustion of being seen only through the lens of others’ convenience. The song stands for individuality, for setting boundaries, for refusing to be decoded, repackaged, or controlled.
 The "violet standard" isn’t a role to perform — it’s an unshakable core that burns beyond reach.

Iosif Gri is a sonic storyteller — a sound producer, songwriter, and singer whose music fuses synth-pop and electro-pop with cinematic flair and a bold experimental streak. His signature sound is both emotionally charged and sonically rich — instantly recognizable, yet ever-evolving.

Iosif’s creative journey began with words and melodies: first as a lyricist and composer, then as a full-fledged producer. He sharpened his craft at the HSE Art and Design School, where he studied Music Production and Sound Design, bringing together artistic vision with technical precision.

His first splash came in 2020 with the raw, electro-punk energy of “Freaking Love.” This was followed by a string of eclectic singles — “Under Gravity,” “Celebrity,” and the provocative “Satyriasis” (featuring Alex Skella) in 2021. Then came “A Little Kinky,” a turning point that pushed his style into new wave territory and carved out a sound that’s entirely his own — bold, stylish, and unmistakably Gri.

In 2022, Iosif released his debut EP, “Maker Being: Regeneration” — a genre-fluid project that blurs the lines between pop, electronic, and avant-garde sound design. More than just an album, it’s a sonic metamorphosis — a reflection of personal transformation and a rebellion against formulaic music-making.

Iosif Gri doesn’t just make music — he builds immersive, emotional worlds. And he’s only just getting started.
