This song was written by Gaz Brownie as a tribute to Mike Peters from The Alarm who sadly died recently . As soon as I heard the rough demo I said " give it 'ere ! " We got Ken from K2 and the Three to provide brilliant drums to give the whole song a real live feel , we do hope you like it !

“Harvest of Dust” expands the lens of the Water Wars EP, confronting the widespread and often hidden devastation caused by industrial and agricultural water exploitation. From once-fertile valleys turned to cracked earth, to forests bending under fracking and fire, this track traces the human and environmental cost of unchecked progress.

The lyrics are both mournful and enraged, moving from quiet sorrow to cinematic outrage as factories, pipelines, and resource extraction strip the land bare. Corn, soy, copper, lithium, and oil become symbols of a world where every drop of water is stolen for profit, leaving rivers empty, soils hollow, and communities powerless.
