Some kinks to iron out but I'm super excited to share this regardless. Probably will stealth reupload later in the week with some of those issues fixed.

Space Elevator Zone (SMPS YM2612)

This was made entirely with the Star Fox SNES soundfont except for the cymbals.
It goes a bit beyond the SNES's capabilities, with more than eight channels and some reverb used!

I'm always looking for constructive feedback, so if anything comes to mind feel free to let me know!

Snowy Days

I would have loved a rune Wilhelm, but alas my defense level wasn't high enough. 

Boring technical fluff: 

FL Studio + a billion instances of Sampler. All VSTs used came with FL Studio (Fruity Parametric EQ 2, Fruity Reeverb 2, etc.). 

Sorry if using short waveforms is considered cheating, I tried to vary it up a little. They are, of course, all derived from the original Wilhelm scream. 

One of the biggest problems I faced was with the percussion samples. I reaaaally didn't like any of the 808 percussion samples provided. I decided to EQ them a whole load so that I could get a more useable sound. I then layered over a very very short Wilhelm scream sample to give the percussion a bit more umph. 

I also don't like most of the overall composition. It could do with being a bit longer, but I felt I was starting to fudge it. This is one of those songs which I built slightly backwards - the last portion of the song was done first - which results in a flow which is unattractive to me, at least.
