Caleta Dub is a new IR release dubbed from previous tracks by Colombian dj Analog*Ana. She did the mix the old fashioned, Jamaica dub way, completely live, from exclusive material from the catalogue of IR and some of their musical conspirators like Asian Dub Foundation. 

IR stands for Indigenous Resistance as well as Resisting Injustice.

Caleta Dub also features a brand new unreleased track "Land Grab" featuring poet Yadira De La Riva with music and production by Herman" Soy Sos "Pearl.

These seven inch mixes are very special for the dub cooperation of special musical guests and producers like Dr. Das and Sun J of Asian Dub Foundation, dub maestro Adrian Sherwood alongside the vocal presence of guerrilla fighters from West Papua. The vinyl was mastered in Detroit by the late legendary mastering engineer Ron Murphy who not only mastered Motown classics but some of the classic Detroit techno tracks by folks like Underground Resistance, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Drexycia to name a few. Most importantly this record was done in remembrance of Galdino a Pataxó warrior brutally murdered in Brazil. The case of Galdino is one that makes a lot of folks uncomfortable because to really delve into all the dimensions of what happened to Galdino means addressing some deep seated social ills in Brazil. Like the theft of indigenous territories, genocide, racism, abysmal attitudes to the homeless to name just a few. This record along with other I.R. artistic offerings are our attempt to prevent Galdino's case from being swept under the rug. At the same time we keep working for a FREE WEST PAPUA!
