Well Neither Here Nor There - ft. Shamoozey

This song was created as a collaboration organized by American Songwriter (americansongwriter.com). This was initially two three hour sessions organized and moderated by Dean Fields. The initial prompt was "Falling in or out of love" and we were encouraged to use repetition in the song.

We decided to write the song from the perspective of someone that has lost the love of their life a few years ago, and is slowly coming to grips with the idea that they have overcome the feelings of grief to live again.

I worked with Tim Shay and Marty Collins to craft this song over the course of a few days. We all worked together on lyrics and progression. Tim crafted the vocals, Marty provided guitar work, and I produced, mixed, and mastered the result.
