For the past 15 years, Ira Rat has been a prolific producer, writer, and artist. Musically, they have released projects as a solo artist and as a part of the bands Vicar Elm, Neon Lushell, and Tape Ends. As well as collaborating with singer-songwriter Richard Shirk on the EP “The Beyond.”

Their music is a reflection of their dedication to experimentation and exploration. From experimental soundscapes to offbeat indie pop, they always strive to create something unique, whether it be a sonic exploration of the unknown or a unique blend of genres.

Ira's latest EP, Insignificant, explores the idea of isolation and chance. He employed a range of techniques to make all the decisions for the project, such as dice, tarot cards, and AI technologies, all from his rural/suburban studio. This culminated in a unique blend of neo-classical, ambient, and tape music, which he affectionately calls "Eno-classical".
