A Música da Casa arranca na quarta feira com o concerto de entrada livre da Academia de Música Costa Cabral. Quinta-feira, às 22:00, PZ toca na esplanada, também com entrada livre. Sexta-feira, às 21:00, tem lugar a final do Prémio Suggia. Ainda na sexta-feira, às 22:00, a esplanada acolhe Saulo Duarte. Sábado, a partir das 10h, tem lugar a Maratona de Violoncelistas. Domingo, o Serviço Educativo apresenta Grilis em Paris e, às 18:00, o espectáculo Sonópolis.

This is the second piece of a cycle of algorithmic pieces for solo piano. The principle is to take a repertoire piece (here: Beethoven Moonlight sonata first movement) and to spread differently (timewise) the exact same notes. In the #2, each group of same notes (C#3, G#2, etc...) is spread as a pulsation in a tempo depending of its register, and synchronized into a scale of all notes at the end of the piece.

This piece is dedicated to my teacher Nicholas Angelich who passed away few weeks ago, from a lamb desease. He was an amazing person, a great teacher, a divine pianist. RIP

Same Notes Spread Differently #2 - [2022 In memoriam Nicholas Angelich]

First piece for piano solo of a cycle started in 2019. This piece was commissioned by pianist Hugues Leclere for Beethoven birth anniversary. The concept is to spread the exact same number of notes of a repertoire piece (here "Für Elise") in a different way (here through layers of pulsations freely superposed).
