Born and raised in Italy she grew up in a musical family. After years of intense work in Europe, Irene has moved to the United States in 2010. Since then she has been an always present part of the DMV area scene. She has sang in some of the top jazz clubs in the East Coast; Smalls (NYC), Chris' Cafè (Philadelphia), Bohemian Caverns (DC), Blues Alley (DC), the Kennedy Center (DC), just to name a few.
She is working on her first solo album "New Island" which will be available very soon.

Irene has earned an undergraduate degree in Jazz Performance at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, and is currently getting her Master degree at Howard University. She is a member of the multi-awarded a cappella jazz group Afro Blue.
