We are very excited to announce the addition of Moo Latte to the MelodySoul family. Moo Latte is an African-rooted producer and multi-instrumentalist from Poland. He hovers between jazz, old-school sounds of post Dilla grooves, and organic textures from live instruments and foley. 

He recently released his debut album on 5:55 Collective (@05x55), which you can grab right here:

He will be working on his next album very soon, which we will release later this year. In the meantime, he created this J Dilla tribute for us all to enjoy. 

Every year in early February, the Hip-Hop community pays homage to one of the most influential producers that the culture has ever known. J Dilla spent his final days on earth still creating music, despite being in and out of a hospital. He was suffering from thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura (a rare blood disease) and lupus, yet he was still able to work on and release his final album, 
‘Donuts”, three days before he passed. His work ethic was second-to-none. February 10, 2017, will mark eleven years since J Dilla’s tragic and untimely passing. 

RIP J Dilla.
