To celebrate the passing of another beautiful year, we’ve decided to put together a few tracks we love for the 12th edition of Kindisch Steps. 10 exclusive tracks from some of our dearest friends. Jumping right in, Death on the Balcony creates a beautifully melancholic vibe with ‘Our Origins’. Haunting vocal layers and a solid groove make this one an absolute treat. Next Marco Tegui and Israel Vich team up for a bouncy adventure into the dusty old west titled ‘Manan Kanchu’. Modd delivers pure magic once again with ‘Gerda’, picking up steam in the compilation the track plays deep inside enchanted forests, giving off a warm afterhour glow. In a very short span of time, Goos has risen to remarkable prominence as a promising artist. With a combination of steady, yet very well received gigs, Goos brings a distinctive energy to the floor. His sound ranges from intricate melodies to chunky basslines, often inspired by earthy tones from around the world.

Goos was born in Doha, Qatar to musically inclined parents who introduced him to rock music at a very young age. This early onset of music led to a gamut of musical influences in his life ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Pink Floyd. His deep-seated love for percussion instruments led Goos on a pursuit to learn the Mridangam. This subsequently enabled him to also take up drumming, giving him a well-rounded understanding of percussion. Goos discovered his passion for dance music through the unique sounds of Eric Prydz and Roger Sanchez.

Goos hosted his own showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in 2018 titled Journey on Tour presenting artists from around the world. Goos has played alongside international artists such as Julian Jeweil, Olivier Giacomotto, Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Bohmer, Dee Montero, Tinlicker, Kora, Theo Kottis, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, Joseph Ashworth, Roger Martinez, Dousk, Roger Sanchez, Kid Crème and Funkagenda to name a few. Goos has also played at the Satellite Beachside festival in Goa, Go:Madras in Chennai alongside many local acts apart from artists from the Anjunadeep roster.He has also played alongside Indian heavy weights like Arjun Vagale, Tuhin Mehta, Nikhil Chinapa, Rohit Barker, BrownCoat and more.
