The serpent's hand believes that humanity and all the other peoples of the known worlds do not deserve to be kept in darkness and ignorance. It is a small but formidable organization, which believes that the paranormal should instead be embraced - breaking down the veil of secrecy that organisations like the SCP Foundation and the UNGOC try to uphold.

With this in mind, I've tried to incorporate these concepts into the song, hence also the title. The song itself is composed in a dramatic fashion analogous to some of the previous themes, this time including some motifs from the Wanderer's library theme.

The Chronicler's Awakening
Every millennium, a Chronicler awakens. Not a being, but a consciousness inhabiting chosen bodies. Their mission: to record events that could alter the Pulse. This time, the Chronicler awakens in a young man named Kael, born on the world of Aeris, where words have physical power and songs can move mountains.
Kael doesn't know he is the Chronicler. He only feels something calling him from the heavens, from dreams, from books no one remembers writing.

The Prophecy of the Broken Pulse
