This is an original song about facing your fears of judgement to become who you were meant to be. It is about learning to take chances, even if you are afraid of what the future may hold.

I wrote this song reflecting on a part of my life where I was really struggling, but after time, I’m learning to grow stronger and overcome this challenge. It’s not an easy experience for me to talk about, so I’m sharing my story in a way that I know and love.

Hi! My name is Iris Le. I am a fifteen year-old singer-songwriter from southern California. Every day, I go through my life scribbling lyrics in my notebook or formulating melodies in my head. I love to incorporate an uplifting message in my music and transform my negative emotions into something hopeful. I use this art form to express my feelings and showcase who I am in a way that words alone cannot explain. I have generalized anxiety disorder, and sharing my emotions doesn’t come easily to me, so I use music to push into my painful experiences and be more vulnerable so that people who have gone through something similar know that they’re not alone.
