Death is as young as humanity itself. It accompanies mankind from the very beginning and it is an integral part of life.
As the cultural differences in society have been evolving throughout the centuries, different ways of burying the deceased as well as their worship and access to the dead were incurring. In particular, the emergence of different religions in the world had a crucial influence on funerary rituals, historical and current, as well as on the perception of death. Many cults of death were born...

I have always been fascinated by this topic and that was the reason behind the conception of this work. The LP "The History of Death & Burial Rituals pt1" is the first part of the musicalization of posthumous rituals and the perception of death in different cultures and countries around the world. This is my tribute to death and its great value and importance to man.

In the first part of this musical book we will deal with rituals in the following countries:

Slovakia - ancient burial customs of superstitious and deeply religious villagers still exist in certain areas till today.

Madagascar - dance with Death, in the name of Famadihana.

Mexico - the most famous dead town which once lived though death. Enter the mouth of the ChichenItza well - where people were buried in blood.

Czech republic- "Umrlčí prkna" provide a place for Death through the long and harsh winters, so the earth could accept the bodies in spring.

India – The Towers of Silence. Here one can feel and hear death the most.

China - Hanging coffins on high rocks so nobody disturbs the peace of the dead.

CHAINS - EVIL I AM

Decibel Magazine calls Outer Heaven, "new school death metal with an old school feel," exuding "a similar claustrophobic vibe" to the mighty Incantation and Coffins.

Founded in 2012 in rural Pennsylvania, Outer Heaven is a familiar name in the hardcore scene, having played recently with bands like Full of Hell, Enabler, and Old Wounds, but on debut EP Diabolus Vobiscum the band dives headfirst into the abyss, showing total commitment to its sound: minimal, unearthly doom-death. From slithering dirges to mid-tempo headbangers, Diabolus Vobiscum is thoroughly soaked in evil, thanks in part to its cavernous production job. The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Outer Heaven frontman Austin Haines at his own Black Beacon Sound in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.

Haines is backed by guitarist Jonathan Kunz (a founding member of Rivers of Nihil), bassist Phil Jaquez, and drummer Paul Chrismer.

"Publicist guy says: 'We think you'll like this – it sounds like Coffins.' So, we decide to check it out because we love Coffins. And yes, we can hear that a bit but we hear even more similarities to Mitochondrian and Decibel favorites Incantation. These are promising comparisons for extreme metal. Despite throwing out a few names to bait the hook we'll also say that Outer Heaven doesn't really sound like these bands as much as they exude a similar claustrophobic vibe. It's new school death metal with an old school feel without the shelf dust."

Created beyond the threshold of consciousness and inspired by ancient teachings of the Infernal metaphysical Qlippothic regions, ISRATHOUM is the compendium of misanthropic conspiracy, cold forged in disused mineshafts as sharp-edged bottomless Black Metal... The invisible spear... An obscure and limitless supernatural barrier... A weapon to His Will. ISRATHOUM was formed in Portugal in 1992 by the initial trio of Arvath, Arluth Dhu and VxInfr. During the next several years the band continues to evolve and shape, until finally assuming its current moniker in 1998, which also coincides with the band’s relocation to the Netherlands. In 2001 ISRATHOUM releases “Hatred (demo)” and, one year later, “The Art Of Malice” MCD sees the light of day. In 2004 “Black Scenery Avatar” is released. Several years later W.uR joins on guitars and with his help the band records “Monument Of Brimstone”, which eventually brings a contract with Spinefarm and the worldwide release of the album takes place in 2009. But, as the time passes things change, so the band decides to move on and seek new opportunities to spread its poison. And so, in 2011 ISRATHOUM inks a deal with Daemon Worship Productions for their second full-length album, entitled “Black Poison and Shared Wounds”. With its line-up reduced to a trio of Arvath, W.uR and VxInfr, the band is stronger than ever! At different points of their career sharing the stage with such entities as MARDUK, SECRETS OF THE MOON, HELHEIM, SOLSTAFIR, CODE, ZEMIAL, ALTAR OF PLAGUES and DESASTER, and featuring members of such bands as PERDITOR and AB IMO PECTORE among others, ISRATHOUM is prepared to take the world by force!
