The great Canadian Bass talents L Nix and Outsider put together an outstanding, deep, dark and  heavy E.P titled The Land Of Ruin, which Iron Shirt Recordings will immortalize on there first 12“ cut to Vinyl, because this one should stay forever, everlasting!

Starting with the title track, The Land Of Ruin sets the standard and momentum of what will follow, a high quality atmospheric, dungeon esc presence with gritty mid tones and unforgiving reece melodies.
The remix by veteran Leon Switch (formerly of Kryptic Minds) delivers his signature sounds while progressing through sub pumping, mid range frequencies that delve into another dimension of darkness. 

Destroying Acheron (LV-426) lets a story unfold through sound. The opening sequence begins, atmospheres, melodies and bass start to progress through time, these events start to unfold with the introduction of a fearful reece that drives the song into the main chapters.

12  Hours To Darkness introduces a hypnotic melody alongside chords and weighty subs. As the title implies, the song begins on a lighter note that gets overtaken, the creatures come out to play, the sirens of the night are out, the intensity grows, the Darkness has taken over.

Finishing of the E.P is City Of Sins. Fueled by the introduction horns, that lead the song and continue to add to the distance that separates good from evil, its the perfect way to end this story, the story of the "Land Of  Ruin", a world with no answers... Bring up them this day of evil, destroy them; destroy them...

This project will make you pull the bass face every time. Cracking with the title track 'Summit' dragging tuvan throat vocals underneath all the other components to buff the hard hitting pluck bass. With multiple melody elements connected to a dark atmosphere in 'S.B.S.F' and 'Portals', it's a cruise you'll never forget as it transitions to 'Cloak & Dagger'. The murky reeses and the knocking bass stabs sound design, shaping up this unique mechanical groove defining Internal Frequency's style. Closing up with the track 'Soothsayer', full of double time dynamic hihat patterns bouncing through your speakers, this one is my personal favorite. The dark atmosphere blends so well with the melancholic melody. The sound design all along the bridge is just pure m1nt! To keep it a Canadian product and to reach the next level, ISR veteran L Nix contributed to the project and delivered a very imposing and hefty remix. Hope you enjoy this EP as much as we do!

the artist’s trademark emerges in the remainder of the EP. “Flute Dub” is, yes, yet another dubstep tune with flutes as the focus; but unlike the other flute-driven tracks that 2019 has beheld, Pharma’s rendition contains melodic variation at every breath. The artist also has a knack for toying with dubstep’s uniform template by interjecting smaller breaks throughout a track - so “Flute Dub” plays out like a song in the conventional sense, as well as a DJ track.

"The next FKOFd EP sees us quite literally returning to our roots. With 'FKOFd044', we welcome a producer back to the label with a solo effort which accompanies his collaborative appearance on our second ever release back at the end of 2013. @11th_Hour joined the FKOF fam on 'FKOFd002' alongside @Subreachers and has gone on to release material with Dubtastic, Mindstep and Uprise Audio. Jason comes back to FKOF Records with four massive new tracks. 

"'Gorilla Glue' introduces the EP with its subtle stepper vibe; rolling along with its nicely meditative atmospheres. Next up, we have 'Stryker'. It exemplifies the damage an 11th Hour production does to the dancefloor. Gunfingers ready for the 2nd drop – it goes off! Track 3, 'Murda', is – perhaps surprisingly, given its title – not as aggressive as you’d think. But the weight does well to demonstrate 11th Hour’s abilities. The beats, bass and space recipe we’ve banged on about before are in full effect here! Last, but definitely not least, we have 'Plastmator'. Haunting soundscapes evolve into spiky synths, crisp hi-hats and waves of low end. Lovely stuff. It’s been a pleasure working with Jason on his debut solo effort on FKOF Records.

This is the tone of the synodic moon (lunar month, which is different from the earth’s month). Use the Solfeggio
frequency RE – ‘Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change’.
Produces energy to bring about change. 417Hz clears destructive influences of past events and puts you in touch with
an inexhaustible source of energy that allows you to change your life.
In this piece, we have a constant attention to the frequency of 417Hz also known as the “Sacral” Chakra frequency.
With so many conventional meditation pieces, I decided to take a much different approach and convert meditation to
rhythm and motion. Everything is tuned to this frequency and is constantly flowing together in the same way the
sounds of the previous piece accomplished. Focus on the rhythm and flow.

EA Review: Ego Death - Mind Your Head EP (Ft. 3WA) [FA048]

Bringing the Mind Your Head EP to a close is the psychedelic collaboration with 3WA, “Khnum”. Through an imposing intro featuring fierce and threatening pads, the song crescendos to life. Amongst the otherworldly moans and groans that can be heard within the first minute of “Khnum”, extraterrestrial sounding heartbeats become more and more prominent. Acting as a lifeline to reality, the percussion then guides the listener through a shamanic maze of sounds. As though being launched into another dimension from the depths of the Earth, “Khnum” shifts from the darker atmospheres of the lower bass frequencies to a trippy, high pitched wobble. The result is an energetic yet wonky dubstep banger. As the final track on FA048 continues, the mood shifts back towards a more sinister note as each drop turns the level of chaotic psychedelia up a notch. Utilizing experimental sound design and clever arrangements, Ego Death and 3WA channel inspiration from the Egyptian god of creation, Khnum. Akin to an alien abduction or being kidnapped by machine elves, “Khnum” has no reservations about leaving its listeners floating somewhere off in hyperspace.
