IRONSIDE Live Set - 2024

This episode was mixed by SELDON to celebrate the 2nd Bday of the "Deep Down the Rabbit Hole" series. Seldon was born in 1978 in Budapest, Hungary. As he was surrounded by music from the early age, it determined his addiction to sound. He met the real techno sounds in the mid 90s at the roots of the Hungarian underground (FMK, Faklya, Patex etc). He started DJing also in this period. Seldon created the "Budapest in the Dark" project in 2011 to introduce dark minimal and psy/techno fusion to the local scene. His complex sounds are built from techno and minimal spiced up with psychedelia. He is an active and forward thinking member of the European minimal music community and he is also building strong links with Latin-America and Mexico. In the 2020s he joined the Darth Frog Collective to deliver the Zenonesque and psytech sounds to Hungarian scene.

This Zenon episode features an all original production set from ANORMIC. Anormic's sound can be described as an exciting journey through many different feelings and mindsets. He uses a huge variety of textures and sound characters and combines super artificial sound design with real instruments and recordings to create his surreal concept. Always changing and still grounded by deep, hypnotic basslines. His passion as a sound designer and drummer gives the music it́s unique sound and rhythm. Unusual time signatures and polyrhythms on a subliminal level, give his music a real individual and interesting character.

ABS (Julian D.A., 2000) and ELS (Elisa Payet, 2003) embody the perfect duo where
passion and talent intertwine. Each person's trajectory, although distinct, led them to a
crossroads where their mutual love of music blossomed into a personal and professional
union.

ABS discovered his penchant for electronic music at a young age, embracing this passion
with a dedication that quickly captured the attention of several agencies in 2017. The
years that followed were marked by constant exploration and refinement of his style, a
quest that has seen him perform on iconic stages such as The Irish Pub in Trianon, OMG
Night Club and Deja Vu in Grand Baie, Awanam in Tamarin, and most recently,
establishing his base at Big Willy's in Tamarin . His meeting with figures such as DJ
JAYAN, DJ BEN and CHRIS WATERS, during performances at The Irish Pub @ Trianon,
not only enriched his technique but also strengthened his determination to evolve in the
spectrum of techno, melody captivating underground rhythm.

ELS, also known as Elisa (Elisa Payet), was born in 2003, with a musical passion that
goes back forever. Launching as a DJETTE two years ago, she quickly learned the ropes,
transporting her audiences through the worlds of melodic, progressive and minimal
techno. She had the opportunity to learn alongside the resident DJs at The Irish Pub in
Trianon, notably DJ Jayan DJ Ben but also ABS.

Their meeting, far from being a simple crossing of paths, marked the beginning of ABS x
ELS, a collaboration that transcends music to touch the very essence of their being. Their
relationship is a vibrant testament to how music can unite souls. Together, they share a
deep connection, a universal language that allows them to express themselves without
fear and accept the challenges that life throws their way.

Their common dream is to perform not only in Mauritius, but also beyond its borders,
taking with them their passion for techno in every performance. ABS and ELS are not just
a couple in life; they are a dynamic duo who aspire to share their love for music with the
world.

AlpaKa MuziK is happy to welcome another incredibly talented producer & DJ to our roster as our newest ambassador for Spain & resident artist, repping the AlpaKa name wherever the world of music takes her.

Artemis is a Dj/Producer from Argentina, born in 1997.
Her passion for the music awoke at the age of 13 driven by the melodies from the Trance music, where she found a strong influence.

She started her music career in Costa Rica where she played at Psytrance festivals such as "Nahual Spirit Festival". 

In 2023, she started her route to Europe from Andorra at The Boss Apres Ski, Kapital Andorra and Fatty’s Soldeu to significant places at the electronic music scene: Berlín and Ibiza. 

She is now based in Barcelona where she represents her Minimal Psychedelic Techno sound. 

Her sessions offer a journey between darkness and psychedelia over a strong and energetic constant groove.

In April 2024 she started her producer career and has achieved strong posición in Top100 Beatport charts.

Her first AlpaKa EP is scheduled for March 2025 and its an absolute weapon of a release. Keep an eye and an ear out!

Diamandy's musical path has been one of academia, dedication, passion, and disciplineToday, he is characterized by others as a pioneer and a mover within the Psychedelic tech and minimal sound space within Scandinavia - which has been his home for the last decade.
Collaborations with the likes of Stan Kolev, D-Nox & Beckers, James Monro, GMJ, and MVMB have led him to chart with almost every release.
Learning, pushing boundaries, and making people feel something is what Diamandy cares about. 'Music gives people the opportunity to experience their emotional range and allow it to be stretched. No matter if the feeling is ecstatic or melancholy, it's a moment to just simply ... feel.

Amer Badi, also known as Dribble, and Ricardo Marques, known also as Battousai, are two respected and accomplished producers in the psytrance scene. Their collaboration began in 2021 with a psy trance track, sparking a creative connection that would eventually lead to the creation of their joint project, Ironside, in 2024. 

Ironside is a minimalistic psytechno project that represents their aspiration to combine their musical talents into a unique and electrifying sound. Their years of experience in the scene and shared love for electronic music have primed them for this ambitious venture. 

This project is a testament to their dedication to innovation and their determination to create a new and thrilling experience for their listeners, as they continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of psychedelic infused techno music.
