Shadow the Hedgehog is still, to this day, one of my favorite anti-heroes in all of fiction. When I was around 12 or 13, I had a severe accident that left me with permanent brain damage; with how severe the injuries to my face were, I was bedridden for over two weeks with half of my skin sheared off and my teeth, jaw, and nose so broken I couldn't eat without being physically helped, let alone talk. My mom bought me Shadow the Hedgehog for the PS2, and I played it almost nonstop while going through physical rehabilitation and facial surgery. Shadow stuck with me all these years later, and I'm so thankful that period of my life had some happy memories.

I wanted my cover of 'I Am (All of Me)' to be a love letter to the game, the original song by Jun Senoue, Crush 40, Tomoya Ohtani, Sega, and, of course, Shadow himself. Thank you mom for taking care of me when I was close to death, and thank you to everyone who has kept Sonic, Shadow, and everyone in our favorite group alive and kicking since we were kids! I love all of you guys, and I'm so happy the Sonic fanbase is still kickin' in high gear! Keep rockin' you beautiful bunch of edgy hedgy listeners; I love you all 🖤

Ballad of the Blood Eclipse: The Tale of Two Stars is an electronic metal opera concept album with full voice acting from an amazingly talented cast that tells the story of four wayward souls; Vander, Aria, Frogpunk, and Phoenix. I've been waiting to share this story with you all ever since I started drafting it before the pandemic; it has taken many forms and has been rewritten multiple times. Frankly, I'm beyond proud of it. I poured my soul into this album, and I hope that every sleepless night, every frustrated scream into the mirror, and every popped blood vessel in my eye is worth it.

Further details such as the voice cast, tracklist, and additional artwork will be revealed soon; Ballad and the Blood Eclipse: The Tale of Two Stars will be released in 2024. My grandfather passed away not too long ago and it made me rethink my whole life - the type of person I was, the kind of person I wanted to be, and whether or not I'd done what I could to make him proud. He was the man I looked up to; honest, kind, strong, someone that everyone around could depend on and count on. I miss you Poppop, I love you so much. I'll be strong for those around me, but I'll be strong enough to face my fears alone as well. Thank you for being there for me, for all of us, for all of those years.

Sunrise Specter

Matchbox Twenty is one of those bands that stuck with me from a very young age, especially their album 'More Than You Think You Are', it was a comfort album growing up and it still feels that way for me now. I think the band and that album are timeless pieces of music, and I hope that my cover captured a little of those feelings and showed my love for this song and that album as a whole!

There was a pretty notably long time in my life when I started to grow really cynical and narrow-minded; it's not easy to break that cycle and sometimes particularly strenuous stimuli can throw me back into a mental hole that I desperately want to stay out of. I was complaining a lot and it was sapping every bit of energy I had; whether or not my reasons for complaining were valid or not, I wasn't balancing myself mentally in a healthy manner. This is one of the main reasons why I connected so much with this song, even more so while working on it.

Sonic is always positive, he's always moving; if he's going through hard times, he processes things and just keeps going because he knows that, despite his own experience, power, and speed, he keeps working hard to protect his family and friends. I think that's an admirable quality in anyone, and I truly hope that I can keep improving myself and living up to the expectations of those who care about me. This was a blast to work on and gave me a lot of time to introspect and find out more about myself. I'm really thankful to everyone in my life who has had my back and keeps pushing me forward, thank you so much from the bottom of my autistic emo heart 🖤

This is the first track from my upcoming album 'V', which will be released on September 7th, 2024. This track is the debut of the new music genre I've been working on pioneering; I call it Post-Chipstep.

Post-Chipstep is a unique combination of Chiptune, Melodic Dubstep, and Post-Industrial music characterized by low to medium tempo (100 bpm and below) tracks with rhythmic bass wobbles, gritty low-pitch chiptune melodies, and dark mechanical atmospherics with occasional off-kilter instrumentation and/or sampling/tempo changes. Tracks are densely produced and often contain extreme/heavily-stylized vocals.

With this new era of my music, I've made it so that all of my songs on Bandcamp are now free to download permanently! I hope Post-Chipstep as a genre connects with you as it resonated with me when I created it, and I hope we can see the genre expand and have additional Post-Chipstep artists start popping up!
