Living between the hustle and bustle of cities and the calmness of forests, irû's work as a Dj/Producer is to build bridges between different worlds through projects that mix sustainability, decolonialism, art, and technology.

Descendant of the Kiriri people from Northeast Brazil, irû evokes ancestry as futurism through a multidimensional and ritualistic sound that resonates beyond borders.

They are recognized for representing the new generation of the Brazilian scene, with tracks and podcasts released by labels such as @tropicaltwistarecords, @festa_limbo @voodoohop and @casacaos.

They are also the co-creator of the project passaro.wav, which has been standing out with the song "Assum Preto," with 400k views on Spotify, and through the release of the vinyl "Antes de Existir o Mundo" by @shikashikacollective.



Iru already leaves their mark on events such as Soukvoodoo in Paris, Dokumenta in Kasel, Chateau Perché, Garbicz in Poland, Regens Unite conference in Berlin and Zugvogel Festival in Koln.
