RC GROOVERS ASSEMBLE VOL23 Mix APRIL 2025 - HOUR THREE

@gregmiddleton hosted the show this week, and welcomed special guest Paul Holroyd (@paul-holroyd-524827304)

Paul has been collecting music and DJing since 1992, and has mixed in bars, courtyards, and clubs with many at the top of the game! He's also created remixes and mashups played by the likes of Michael Gray, Dr Packer, Hed Kandi and Des Mitchell to name a few.  One such mashup - recent collab with Pete Maude on "Inner City - Good Life" - has been tearing up dancefloors across the globe. HUGO DRAXX SOULFUL HOUSE MIX MAY 2025

For the second episode of the new "Mix Sessions," Pete Ellison donned one of his signature Hawaiian shirts, fired up the decks, and lit up the disco lights for a journey through multiple genres.

The new format of the show gives our Waltons a chance to showcase their unique sound over a two hour broadcast. The first hour packed full of glitterball grooves and disco magic, featuring three of his own new productions. The second hour shifted gears into house music, full of beefy basslines and a tougher, more driving vibe.

The session was meant to wrap up after two hours, but the energy was too good to stop. Pete commandeered the airwaves for an impromptu third hour, diving into old skool house classics and bangers from his vinyl days, before rounding off the night with a few funky breakbeat tracks.
