Biography

Projecktet Isla & Nubla took shape in early 2008 when their first track called Silver. Jackob and Peter worked funky house tones, and they was almost finished with the track when they decide what they should be called when Jakob suddenly came up with the idea and said ISLANUBLA! (Since he had seen the film Juraccic Park the day before and came to think of the island) Peter thought about it and said, what about Isla & Nubla? Jakob thought for a moment and said, hm yes, Isla & Nubla is a good name! And so the name was born.

The following year, the boys have their first remix job through to get permission to remix the Danish artist Tracy Fox (Casper Østergaard) s first single called Dark Water, a dance track that was released on the German record Socially Andorfine Recordings, the boys received vocal that was sung by the Danish super singer Linnea Hanberg, and immediately began their mission. The boys completed their task and made a solid electro remix which resulted in the Isla & Nubla got their first remix releas on the offichel Tracy Fox - Dark Water single on the German label ANDORFINE RECORDINGS.

This releas gave the guys a taste and courage to continue theire projeckt. Since the first releas boys have remixed a whole lot of both Danish and artists from around the world, and got a lot of exciting remixes tasks on they way. The boys have today actually remixed a lot of artists worldwide, large and small, both Danish and international and this is certainly only the beginning of what the two boys have to offer, they have only just opened up the bag and has much more to offer in the future ..
