Music project by Marthe Lagae, songwriter of British and Belgian descent, based in Brussels.

With a musical father from London, she grew up among British folk and reggae guitars. You can clearly hear a childhood in the 1990s, which actually sounded more like the 1970s, yet her songs are all about the here and now. Call it folk, indie, pop or rock... it's probably all right. From unabashed ballads to fuzzy rock songs, one thing is for sure: Is Mark Mark? is brutally honest.

At its heart are strong melodies, catchy lyrics and a warm authentic sound. Assisted by a five-piece band: Hugo Antunes on bass, Marco Giongrandi on guitar, Laura Vander Elst keys and vox and Linde Van Moll on the drums.
