About @bodjay

Bodjay is the project of Henrique Costa, who, born in the shadows of the underground scene in Arapongas - PR, was deeply influenced by the percussion of grindcore and the synthesizers of post punk, with electronic music being the perfect channel to express his despair. His productions reverberate a fusion of melancholy and resistance, creating soundscapes that speak directly to those who seek something beyond the superficial.

With a career that has been solidified in the underground scene in Paraná and Santa Catarina, Bodj is also a fervent supporter of the local scene, always supporting and promoting artists and initiatives from the region. His art is a reflection of his genuine love for music and its ability to connect and transform.

He is resident and co-founder of the Umbral collective, a project with roots in Balneário Camboriú, which embraces a mystical aesthetic and a commitment to the fight for racial and gender equality and the inclusion of minorities. In addition to disseminating music, he also seeks to build a safe and welcoming space where diversity and representation have a voice.

Setzinho que gravamo na terceira edição da Umbral, dia 25/01/2025

Trouxe várias tracks de pista, com bastante groove mas também introspectivas, algumas com elementos de transe (pra fechar o olho e viajar mesmo). Esperava uma pista bem dançante e dinâmica, um som tropical pra combinar com a noite quente do verão e sombrio porque nóis é techno.
