iman has a rich musical background growing up. From ska , punk rock, thrash metal to reggae then he discovered House and Techno and the art of turntablism and mixing is a whole other vibe than live bands. From the time he went to his first underground party in 1990 and truly felt & captured the vibez is when he went to a “Microrave” warehouse (break in party) he instantly fell deeply in love with the vibez & especially the Music & the feeling of “Victory” after dancing all night!The thrill of going to underground parties like “Opium” “Narnia”, “Playskool”, the “Guf” then later “Siesta Fiesta” , “Art of Sound” and “Sublevel”undergrounds in LA in the mid 2000’s to now has never stopped! For iman it’s always been strictly for the music & dancing 1st then everything thereafter:)
The feeling of aliveness & connection after dancing all night to the sounds of sweet house music there’s nothing that compares to that bliss.
