I composed this piano piece (in c minor) in New York City 2 months ago. The melody reminds me of a kind and reliable friend. The music is playful in its rhythms but gentle and relaxing in mood.

A Lending Hand

When I thought of the name of this album, I immediately thought of one of those nights where you try to find a star, but the cloud or the busy lights of the city have made them disappear.
Music for me is a way to access those stars, those dreams that can so easily disappear in the business of life. Music, and especially piano is like a therapeutic approach, a soul searching that makes those forgotten stars shine in the midle of darkness.

Orion is really my absolute favorite star constellation. It is the first star I actually managed to read on a star map. It's very recognizable with it's 3 dot belt, shining Betelgeuse and warrior shaped form.
I decided to name each of these piano compositions according to one of the names of the main stars of the constellations.

These piano pieces are simple recordings, as they reflect my day to day practice and expression of this instrument. You may even hear children playing, crying and everyday life passing by, and that's fine, since the exercise itself of music, in my case, is in essence an accompaniment and expression of that same life.

Je connaissais leurs coups de comm géniaux, leurs produits, son énergie infatigable et j'avais déjà vu à quel point il avait un charisme dingue. Mais au fond, je n'avais jamais eu l'occasion de lui poser toutes les questions qui m'intéresse toujours sur ses choix, ses coups durs, ses succès mais aussi ce qui le fait avancer. &nbsp; C'est désormais chose faite et j'avoue qu'en réécoutant l'interview au montage, j'étais assez frustrée de me rendre compte que j'avais encore mille questions à lui poser.&nbsp; &nbsp; Lors de cette conversation on a parlé de recrutement, de comment garder une culture d'innovation et de créativité même quand on grandit, des grands tournants de leur aventure, des moments difficiles aussi, des débuts dans sa cuisine rue Homel et pourquoi finalement être un peu inconscient c'est utile parfois. Il m'a aussi donné de nombreuses leçons de vie : pourquoi il faut&nbsp;confiance à son instinct, de la difficulté de bien éduquer ses enfants, de son envie de partage et d'aider les autres mais aussi de comment l'arrivée de sa fille Sarah, atteinte de Trisomie 21, avait bouleversé sa vision de la vie. &nbsp;  // PARTICIPER // Si le podcast vous plaît, le meilleur moyen de me le dire, ou de me faire vos feedbacks (et ce qui m'aide le plus à le faire connaître) c'est simplement de laisser un avis 5 étoiles ou un petit mot doux sur l'application Itunes.
