Bleeve - Fission

I fell in love with GTA's groove immediately when I heard it, but when the song was over, I wanted to know the other side of the story. That led me to write and sing a new pre-chorus that replies to Kennedy's lyrical accusations.

I had lots of fun with sound design for this track. I used my own field recordings of water and ice as a sonic foundation, made a fun granular pad from the original pre-chorus vocals, and designed a Karplus-strong bass patch for the drop. After that, it was all about playing with chords, chops and swells.
