Build A Home

The My Definition of Chill series, which has always been the purest public expression of my taste in music, has exceeded all expectations I ever had for it. What began as a playlist of songs I liked to listen to at the end of the night has evolved into a soundtrack of my life. The reaction from those who have let me know how this series has been a part of their lives has touched me deeply and I appreciate every story and word of thanks I have received. Thank you for sharing and letting me be a part of your life.  

The inspiration for Vol. 7 Brazil started out as a series of unintentionally ignored emails and eventually came around to the formation of a new friendship, an incredible journey to Brazil, and what I hope will be a long term musical partnership based on a love of similar music and now this mix. 

I have to thank my good friends Ricardo and Fred from the Peninsula Beach Club Hotel in Bahia, Brazil for having the vision to bring me in as resident DJ for the New Years holiday and for sharing with me their slice of paradise. It was truly a pleasure to play for a group of amazingly beautiful and friendly Brazilians and the vibe continues to inspire me. 

This mix goes along with Party People 7 Brazil Edition. Different mood with the same inspiration. Thanks for coming along for the musical ride. You can find the complete tracklist posted on Facebook.
