"THE RETURN was birthed out of a season of my life that unfortunately felt like coming back from a "wandering through a desert" period of life. A season that I believe too many Christians tend to go through. Caused by poor decision making and lack of intentional intimacy with not just God but also with His people. Resulting in falling backwards, causing shame and disappointment; which the devil loves to use to make you think you're not worthy of being in communion with Christ. Which is a lie. 

The most frustrating part about all of this amidst everything else that takes place in life is that you know better. You know what you need to do. You just don't do it. No matter the excuse, there shouldn't be one. 

My hope with this project, with the few lyrical songs within it, is that it would help bring a sense of childlike faith. The memory of what it was like when you first came to know the Lord and pursued Him with a pure heart. Worshipping Him in spirit and in truth. Speaking His promises over yourself and rooting yourself in his holy and perfect word. 

Considering it is also filled with a majority of instrumental tracks. My prayer is that it allows you (the listener) to commit your focus on more than just melody, and opens up the opportunity to dive into reading, prayer, inner thoughts, however you choose for your time to be spent. That's the beauty of this style of music, and why I somehow always end up creating it when making music. 

I'm immensely grateful for you borrowing your ears to what I created for the next 30 minutes, and I really hope it is a blessing to your spirit. 

As always, I believe God has used AMEN WORLDWIDE so immensely in this generation and I encourage you to check out all the other videos on this page. It will be a blessing to you, I'm sure of it.

It's difficult to bring meaning to an instrumental track as lyrics tend to do majority of that weight holding. So with the titles of each track in this project. I plan to use them to create a visual behind a period of time I've gone through in hope to connect with you and uplift you.

Palm of Your Hand is intended to evoke thought on the reality that we are not only made by His hands but are held by Him as well. 
Firmly in Him, holding onto the promises He has given us. 
That by faith, we will continue this journey of growing deeper in love and obedience to our King before His return to build His kingdom on Earth.


 

My hope with this project as a whole is to encourage the return of many who have become complacent with their spiritual journey with Christ.
Who have gone through a desert "season" persay.
Something I have gone through not just once in my own walk. And as I feel like I am coming out of one now, I believe it's perfect timing to share this album as it was made in a dry time. Writing these songs by faith, in that knowing what is true has nothing to do with what I feel but is rooted in Biblical truth.

This song started to come together when Isaac Wheadon sent me a message one day. He knew this great singer named Georgia Costolo, who was normally very accustomed to singing on acoustic music. But Isaac had the ear to recognize that Georgia's voice would fit perfectly on deep house! 

So he started a house'y track using one of her vocals, and eventually he reached out to see if I wanted to add in any parts and help finish it. I'm glad he brought me in and let me throw my sound into it!
