16 Candles is a mix of pop and alternative sounds and is based on a real-life experience.  The song was written by Isabel LaRosa (16) and her brother, Thomas LaRosa (20), who is also the producer.  Isabel is signed to Slumbo Labs, a label and recording studio in Brooklyn, NY, owned by Jake Ottmann, SVP of A&R RCA Records.
