Interview, extraits sonores du spectacle et autres musiques composées pour l'audiovisuel (notamment extrait de compositions pour le documentaire : "La Poussette MacLaren", série Design, ARTE 2012; Réalisation Anna-Célia Kendall) le cinéma ou la scène : C'est notamment le cas des trois titres interprétés par l'ensemble Babaté Orchestra, fondé en 2006 avec Woz Kaly (chant) et Alessandra Agosti (piano) suite à la composition pour le film de Chantal Richard : "Lili et le Baobab" avec Romane Bohringer (2005). Le groupe s'est ensuite étoffé avec l'arrivée de Pierre Maindive à la contrebasse.

Live duet version with Nuria Rovira Salat (voice), Jean-Marc Zelwer (voice, accordion) on 2015 November 14th in CCJB (Centre Culturel Jacques Brel, Villebon sur Yvette, France)played in L'Orchestrano concert.
"Obradovia" is a song originally written by Zelwer in 2010 for "Tzigane Imaginaire" creation in théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar.

This original composition by Jean-Marc Zelwer was recorded live on november 14th 2015 at CCJB (Centre Culturel Jacques Brel) Villebon sur Yvette, France, by Frédéric Dalila.
On this "Joyful complaint", Zelwer plays successively indian santur, bas guitar, bone flûte & gypsie guitar, while recording each pattern by using a loop station pedal controller. 

L'Orchestrano is a creation involving Jean-Marc Zelwer playing more than 13 instruments on stage, Nuria Rovira Salat, voice & dance, Fédéric Dalila, sound.
Duration : 45mn+ 30mn talk with the public & explaination about rare instruments.

Toccata Toquée ("Nuts" Toccata) is an original composition for the sweddish viela : Nyckelharpa. 
It was recorded during L'ORCHESTRANO public concert on November 14th, 2015, at CCJB, Villebon sur Yvette, France.
Sound engineer :  Frédéric Dalila. 

This four strings bowed viela is equipped with a keyboard & twelve sympathetic strings. My instrument is a twenty years old's Jean-Claude Condi french stringged instrument maker & nyckelharpa maker, a specialist of which he is.
Since then, he perfected a lot the invoice of this instrument, having added a fourth row to the keyboard on his recent instruments. He created a tenor model (tessitura of the cello), & a model with more touches, allowing certain quarters of tone.

Toccata Toquée (L'Orchestrano) public recording

This original piece, played by Zelwer on piano (summer 2014)was a command by the Polish composer Pawel Romanczuk, who is Male Instrumenty artistic director : Male Istrumenty is using only toy & new instruments made by himself. 
He orchestred Macabre Walz in that way & his version can be heard in Walz W Walz album, dedicated to first world war centenary (https://soundcloud.com/maleinstrumenty/male-instrumenty-jean-marc-zelwer-macabre-waltz)

This song is a very old hebrew one, meaning "I believe".
During the holocaust many religious jews sung it while they were sport to death camps.
I would like to dedicate my own version to all nazis victims from yesterday until today & specially to my great aunt Paula Silberberg (1892-1942)

Feel High

Lili Reggae is a composition by Zelwer. It's an original cultural meeting between african reggae style & Gypsy music, played on unusual instruments. In this potential hit new version of Lili Reggae, recorded live in April 2012 by Christophe Marais at Alfortville, with Woz Kaly (lead vocal), Pierre Maindive (double-bass), Alessandra Agosti (piano), Philippe Chaignon (percussions & drums),  Jean-Marc Zelwer (accordion) re-recorded arrangements (guitar, water drum percussions, sanza, synthetiser percussions) & invited TZIGANE IMAGINAIRE 's singer Louisa Bailèche (back vocals), the great young violin player Mirabelle Gilis, & at last but not least, the Moldavian cello player Martin Neaga with whom he created a trio in 2009. Enjoy this african Gypsy reggae hit !
