An (almost) professional recording of one of my acoustic songs! Done as a final project for my sound production and recording class. A favorite of mine to perform live, Old Soul Mama is written for the soul who believes they are lost and living in the wrong era. Unlike my other Soundcloud tracks, this one is quite simple, with no layering. I'm excited to finally have a decent enough recording to share on this platform! 
The accompanying photograph was taken by Vivian Maier, my favorite roving street photographer from the 50's/60's.

Composed on a tiple, a Colombian instrument similar to the guitar but with 12 strings. I tried to play up the dreamy sound of the instrument in this composition.
