We're happy to welcome the debut EP from @biota_official

BIOTA represents the symbiotic coexistence of flora & fauna, bridging ancient & modern, utilizing contrast to create colorful diversity. 
Their journey is exploration of sound and movement, driven by aesthetics of sound art, cinematic atmosphere, psychedelia and the gritty roots of blues and rock&roll.

In Sistema Organico, the Israelian duo Roman Galperin & Moses Chimen deliver a variety of sonic textures, from spacey feedback guitars through tasty analog synths, forest flutes, traditional percussion, shamanic vibes and more delights - all composed into musical moods to dive into.

The whole piece is inspired by the meditative depths of the natural world, a tribute to the forest, the jungle, the great rivers and thoughts about our relationship with them as human beings.

Drifting - a movement with no certain direction… As a drifter you may move with ease and a calm mind, or you may find yourself on a mystical journey into the unknown, you’re never quite sure... These feelings of uncertainty have inspired our dear friend Kyle, aka @captures, when he began working on this EP three years ago. At that time his journeys had drawn him to Berlin where he found himself searching for a community to resonate with. With a bit of drifters fortune, we found each other here and there as the events and parties around Voodoohop and UCR brought him a sense of home: „Everyone seemed like wild characters in a play on some type of exotic underground that created a narrative free from boundaries. I loved the psychedelic atmosphere those days combined with electronic and world music sounds. Those experiences contributed a lot to this album and to who I am today.“

We’re pleased that our communities have provided inspiration that has led us to work with Captures on releasing this beautiful soundtrack. A soundtrack for all the drifters out there.

May this EP be seen as a dedication to not only the weightless feeling of floating but also to carry confidence and optimism on our paths to explore the great unknown. As Confucius said, „The journey is the destination“.

Captures - Cloud Drifter

In a world where technology and nature merge seamlessly, robots have embarked on a unique evolutionary path. Originally designed as tools for humans, these robots have evolved into autonomous beings deeply intertwined with Earth's ecosystems.

These new-generation robots, often referred to as bio-robots, are equipped with biodegradable components and systems that mimic photosynthesis. Their 'skin' is comprised of a layer of living cells that convert sunlight into energy, making these beings nearly self-sustaining. Their design allows them to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases and enhancing air quality.

In this symbiotic world, bio-robots play a crucial role in reforestation and the restoration of damaged habitats. They plant trees and other vegetation with a precision and consistency that was previously unthinkable. Moreover, they are programmed to protect endangered species by detecting and stopping poachers, and closely monitoring the health and growth of these populations.

These robots are no longer just man-made machines; they are considered integral parts of their local ecosystems. They communicate with the natural world using advanced sensors that enable them to respond to environmental changes, such as shifting seasons or approaching natural disasters. Society in this world views bio-robots not as a threat, but as allies in the fight against environmental degradation. Humans work closely with these robots, learning from their innate connection to nature and developing new methods for sustainable living.

As these technological organisms continue to evolve, they become more and more a living symbol of hope and harmony between human progress and environmental conservation. They remind us that technology, when properly applied, can not only improve our lives but also help restore and support the natural world around us.

Wākhan, founder of the parisien collective O’Tawa and Ismētra upcoming artist raised by the collective, propose you an intemporel travel through Asia.  "Tsukinowa" oscillates between organic traditional Japan grooves and ambiant downtempo elements. The french duo combined all this influences after a long research of different traditional sounds of Japan and got inspired of the name from an old buddhistic temple located near Mount Atago in the District of Uy-ku in Kyoto. « Tsukinowa » is the first track released by the young couple.
