Damn cool release from our friends WAYU with the consistently good Rapossa! We are happy to Premiere this exquisite remix by Ōme who takes us on a proper tribal journey!

Rapossa brings us Dogma as if a statement of passion that awakens the future of new world music while celebrating deep ties to the past and the discernible geography of the origins that make up this Sultan swagger. It is yet another enchanting EP from Rapossa, this time invoking the story of a sultry journey through the doorway to the East to encounter a dreamscape that enchants the senses.

Marked by intensifying progressive oriental beats, can you also see the sounds and hear the colors on this magic carpet ride? As if flying over wind-blown orange desert sands, suddenly you've been called to the spice market and then to the temple to worship, except this journey marks the calling of a different type of devotion. One year ago, I listened to a song from michaonfire and Sonia called Njoum (Stars) and instantly liked their vibe https://soundcloud.com/user-769640726-833291896/micha-sonia-njoum-demo.
I asked Micha if I could do some sort of remix/interpretation and he luckily sent me the stems of their recordings. I had a lot of stuff to do the last summer, so it took me quite a while to start this remix and get it done. Hope you like it :)

What is state of mind? 
When we try to respond to this question, the answer may at first seem easy. Is it?

We fail to put our finger on a clear definition of the state of mind, we sometimes get around this failure, using a simple trick we call "adjectives": words that designate an attribute of a noun.

By following this trick, a state of mind can be described as "relaxed", "loving", "inattentive", etc... This is a trick that gives us the possibiltiy to come up with infinite eidetic variations, without ever getting to the core of all the complexity of the phenomenon.

Sometimes, we try to describe it as the similarities that we share with eachother, like an umbrella, a concept of life, an ideal. 
Although one's state of mind might be called "equal" to that of another's, when both express similar interests or ways of approaching things, it is, deep down, as personal as it can be. The other is always, to some extent, alien.

Still, when we are lost for words, the music begins.
