okay so i rlly like this song. a lot. it's suuuuuper fun to sing and I love the producer (Ghost), who i found out existed when i discovered the song Housewife Radio (my favorite song, besides this one) like a few months ago. and i fell in love with Ghost's music instantly. 

anyway, i decided "WHY NOT COVER THIS AMAZING SONG AND DO THE WORST MIX I'VE EVER DONE ON A SONG WITH THIS ONE???!?!?"

Okay so I won't be doing a full version of this song bc:
1) if u can't tell i strained the ever-loving crap out of my voice in the chorus of this song and i'm not wiling to do that a bunch more times. 
2) i pitched the instrumental on audacity so much it's hardly recognizeable bc otherwise i can't even sing it.
3) this song is too perfect for me to ruin the whole thing.

wow yeah this is still very much a work in progress so pls don't b too harsh upon me. i didn't do the "ha ha"s b/c i felt silly and they sounded breathy and bad so..,.. yeah.

hi i decided to challenge my shitty voice and sing this rlly difficult song. idk if im gonna post this on youtube soon or not??? i'm still trying to figure out if i can add harmonies or something b/c i feel like it lacks something???? so yeah. also my vocal control actually physically died when i sang this. 

Jesus Lord, tho, some of those notes were high and when i recorded this i hadn't sang in 2 weeks (i was sick lol) so it went about as well as you might expect. also im kinda pissed i wasn't able to get the childish aspect i rlly wanted to get in this song.... but what else should I expect upon pitching the instrumental down by a million billion percents just to coherently sing it lol. 

so yeah, this was a test on two fronts: (1) Vocal and (2) mixing, b/c i just got a new mixing program, that is, sadly, not adobe audition even tho it is my dream/heart's desire to one day attain the full scope of beauty that is adobe, (.-.) regardless, this new program is kind of a meme so i used this song to figure it out a lil. 

ANYWAY! If you have critiques (as long as they're gently phrased pls) let me kno!! I'm always looking to improve!! particularly in the area of vocal control!!
