After 4 years of expanding our community we have reached our 100th Valley Radio episode, a core aspect of the Valley undertaking so far. We are truly in awe of the sheer volume of amazing people that have participated in creating what Valley is today. A big thank you to all artists that have performed or contributed online and of course a thank you to all the lovely people who listen to our output and come support us live. We are truly here for and by you. 

With this 100th episode we present a ‘Valley’s picks’ mix, concluding our series that started out as live sessions at Red Light Radio, adapted to an online send-in with a weekly release and transformed to a bi-weekly series that has introduced so many people to wonderful artists. But don’t be sad! We will be back when the dust has settled. Sooner than you think...

Valley Radio 100

@morsel-tales presents 'Drowned City' a compilation album of experimental tracks from Manchetser based producers and artists. 

Morsel is a Manchester based record label inspired by literature and folklore, exaggerating the mysticism of our urban environments. The release follows Morsel's launch event in February, a night of live experimental music and film from local experimental artists and producers. "The fog still slept on the wings above the drowned city" describes the sonic inspiration behind the tracks with influences from Musique concrète, deconstructivism, ambient, experimental and spoken word. 

Wilted Flower is a track by Maiden, a project by DJ and producer Elsa who experiments with alternate realities with a focus on sound design and musical exploration through field recordings and touching melodies.
