about the album:
this piece is about keeping our mind still and aware so that we can enjoy life as in one long motion. (Bambu)
it is quite unique and special to us. It represents the need we have for creativity and for keeping our own individuality (Harp Matrix) for its unusual rhythmic patterns and style. 
some of the pieces are highly influenced by music from India, (Indian vibes, Anti city, Song from the heart) the country of many beautiful great spiritual mystics, whom we feel highly influenced and inspired by.
we wrote music about compassion to self (take your time) , about the importance to develop love towards our planet (the sky the heaven) since we feel that the world is constantly giving us its beauty, so generously… 
Final song is about appreciation of our relationships, being great full for each other.
we are fresh, fun loving individuals with classical music background, who love to improvise and play around with sounds and beats. Fernando Rivas (Nano) is a pianist from Cordoba, Argentina. Currently a member of Kayakman, a successful Miami based rock band. Ruti Machnai is a cellist from Haifa, Israel, former member of New World Symphony, Hollywood Philharmonic and the New Philharmonic Orchestra, all based in South Florida. Our goal was having fun creating music. As our collection of songs grew we realized they make a beautiful wholesome piece of work and could be presented under the name- Nocturnal. emphasizing their unique relaxing vibe they all have in common.

Thin Lips is a dialogue between music and poetry, a collaboration between the Israeli poet Karen Alkalay-Gut, and musicians Roy Yarkoni and Ishay Sommer.

Thin Lips began with its first album, released January 2004, and continues with developing performances at venues as varied as the Barby night club and Beit Levick, the home of the Israel Association of Yiddish Writers. Alkalay-Gut performs in English, Hebrew and Yiddish to the exciting and original music of Roy Yarkoni, Ishay Sommer, Yatziv Caspi, and Erez Kariel as well as a variety of guest artists and musicians.

Yarkoni and Sommer created music which combines a number of musical genres and styles, among them progressive rock, jazz and classical music, which in combination with the poet痴 dramatic voice, "moves between lust and satisfaction, between hunger for knowledge and the wisdom of knowing," and asks only to "seize the current moment."

In this Charming Hostess CD Jewlia Eisenberg continues her tradition of arranging music and text from the Jewish, African, and Bosnian Diasporas. This time setting the text of Mr. Mehmedinović, Charming Hostess sings of genocide and nationalism, freedom under siege, the nature of evil, and resisting war by any means necessary. The work explores Mr. Mehmedinović's text through a lens that includes Jewish, Balkan and Sufi musical influences.
