and were it not for shards of glass that pierce the pitched veil of night, I would fly across the space as vesseled spirit light. all the way. 
a planet and her moon, suspended in a void. forever drawn to eachother - never touching.
tremendous flames tug them into cosmic dances, a great nothing inbetween to keep the pair apart.
you are my skylight, i am yours. an eternal eye of color that gazes out of the abbyss and down on me, and me back. yet all we see in each other, are pale reflections of those distant flames that excite us. a faint warmth that fuels us, with a distant but sure promise to ultimately engulf us entirely and consume us in its licking flames.
