We welcome back the Panamanian Palka for his 2nd outing on Earthly Measures - Panamá Libre is a rich and flavourful combination of an array of electronic genres with organic/acoustic instrumentals. An international melting pot : the EP combines African and Latin instruments with Indian and Japanese vocals from Anisha Pillay and mimismooth. It offers a multicultural deep downtempo atmosphere, from World Breaks to Afro Vibes and deep Folktronica.

Xande also know as 2040 is an Italian musician based in Milan. During the year of 2024 he will releasing his debut album on Amselcom. 
The first single of Album called ‚Places‘ is the song ‚Wadi Rum‘.

  It is about his time in Jordan, where he lived and laughed with bedouin people - listend to their language, their songs & their life. The hospitality of these people, who live a very limited life in the middle of the desert, is something that he particularly remembers. A special field recording of this trip is wrapped in Xande’s sound scapes and brings along a contrast of organic and electronic elements. Real Organic house in an intimate composition.

Kadosh is deeply rooted in the underground scene, playing everywhere from Fabric to Watergate to Blue Marlin in Ibiza. His organic, spellbinding take on house is rich in emotion and has come on labels like Innervisions, Live At Robert Johnson, and his own well-regarded Frau Blau imprint. Adding another label debut to his extensive back catalogue, Kadosh arrives on Human By Default for the 'Amoladore' EP, backed by accomplished sibling duo Simple Symmetry on remix duties.

Title track ‘Amoladore’ opens with lush, acoustic beats and gleaming pads featuring vocals from São Paulo-born singer and a regular Red Axes collaborator, Abrão, that bring a sense of serenity amongst the supple grooves. Ecuadorian born Joaquin Cornejo’s KOMOREBI serves as an excellent introduction to the label, with emotive sounds and soulful lyrics creating a beautifully peaceful track. This is a song built around almost forgotten vocal recordings of the amazing English singer Wabi Sabi and resampled old magnetic tape recordings that make up the rich textural background.
