I don't really know what 'creative block' means. But I go through phases when music gets unbearable, everything I try to listen to or play feels bland, it gets immensely depressing. I try to record new things just to make myself feel better. Maybe because of the artificiality of the process, it usually results in soulless, coerced music.
This track was made during one of those phases.

This song is a a part of a series of classic bangla songs recreated with a simplistic approach and only a few instruments. The simplicity is compensated by the brilliant vocal performance of Divaaaa Tashfee :-)

I used to write lyrics and would try to put a tune on it back when I was in college. Yeah! There were some random stuffs...but some of the creations were my really favorite ones.
This song..."Oparthib" is one of my favorite songs...and this is probably the first complete song I have ever composed. The song carries many happy memories, memories back in college, memories of lost love....greater friendship...sleepless nights...and what not!!! :)

The song reflects the teenage search for that special feeling..."LOVE".... <3
It was composed at the end of 2011 maybe :)
After I composed it back then, I never thought I would work on it again after 4-5 years!!! I didn't even think before tonyt that I will be working on some love song! :p

All works in the song are done by me. That same old amateurish guitar play...meaningless and faulty solos...improper editing....and first time use of Cajon in recording.... :(

But I think the song came of "Not Bad" :D

Well...this time I tried to do something different on my own. I have been into Rabindra Sangeet since childhood...and always wanted to do the magical songs in my own way. Here is a version of "এ কি লাবণ্যে পূর্ণ".
The best part of this sing, that amazes me most is the touch of classical and pure Rabindrik tones in the song. I tried to manage the set-ups according to my ability and after working with the song, I found that everything except the voice, was more or less pretty good.
This song describes the life full of wonders and the ultimate unite with the supreme soul.
Voice, Guitar, Cajon all are played by me.
I borrowed a picture from Shoumik Autonu's albums for the cover art work.
