The idea for this mix came from the cover photo above: a photo of my girlfriend Camille from her 90's/2000's themed birthday party back in 2021. When I came across this photo again recently, I thought to myself, "Why don't I make a mix that the ladies will love?" And so, I searched for and curated SoundCloud edits with some bomb-ass drums and a strong female presence.

The title, Get Lit Sit Pretty, on the other hand, was inspired by a night out with my girlfriend when she won a free table at Commissary 2.0 LOL. I offered to be her designated driver that night so that she'd be able to "get lit and sit pretty" with her girlfriends. As soon as I said it, I knew that it just had to be the title for this mix.

I'm so excited to share this mix with you all! I had so much fun working on this mix, and I hope you have just as much fun listening to it.

Jakob Mesina is based out of the San Fernando Valley, He started DJing when he was 15 years old and since then has played multiple private events, clubs, bars and has even thrown he’s own events all throughout the LA/OC area.
