Isis & Mozes is a live act by Isis van der Wel and Mozes Meijer. Together they explore the world of sound and dance in their live shows. By combining both electronic as well as acoustic instruments in their compositions they try to achieve the best of both worlds. In addition to the electronic part of their music Isis & Mozes create an organic flow during their live sets by bringing in live sounds such as guitar, vocals and percussion. Dancing is a physical way of meditation and Isis & Mozes enjoy providing the music to accompany this.

Isis & Mozes Live @ Ruigoord 2018

Isis & Mozes is a live act by Isis van der Wel and Mozes Meijer. Together they explore the world of sound and dance in their live shows. By combining both electronic as well as acoustic instruments in their compositions they try to achieve the best of both worlds. In addition to the electronic part of their music Isis & Mozes create an organic flow during their live sets by bringing in live sounds such as guitar, vocals and percussion. Dancing is a physical way of meditation and Isis & Mozes enjoy providing the music to accompany this.
Spring of 2018 Isis & Mozes released their debut ep Ostara at the KROOKS label with remixes by Yør Kultura and a co-productions with Trippin Jaguar. During 2018 Isis & Mozes have been touring with their live set and played at various festivals and events throughout Europe such as Boom Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Ruigoord, the Dutch Royal Concert Hall and Het Stedelijk - the Amsterdam Museum of Contemporary Art.
Isis & Mozes appear on stage with a one hour live set. This duo blends electronic and acoustic music by using both pre-recorded audio as well as live instruments, vocals and synthesizers. Depending on the situation and possibilities they are able to bring more artists to join them during their performance such as instrumentalist, singers, dancers and visual artists.
This winter Isis & Mozes are working on new tracks for their 2019 release and upcoming live tour.
Isis van der Wel, better known as Dj Isis, is a veteran in the international dj scene. For over 25 years she is travelling the world as a professional dj. The past 12 years she's been performing live. Coming from the traditional techno and house scene her sound has gradually evolved towards a more acoustic and ethnic oriented approach of electronic music.
