An edit of some performances smashed together. The sound needs some work, as does the structure, but I like it kind of rough like this.

Catatonic State Society

Isjtar is an electronic musician and experimental media artist. After having developed an allergy for linear timelines as found in audio editing software he decided to change his way of working. Many years ensued lost in manuals and tutorials of ever more obscure software and programming languages. 

After a while he realized that his perfect system would probably never come to exist or anyway bore him pretty quickly, so he decided to stop worrying about that. Still, he develops his own instruments in hardware and software and performs these in many collectives and sometimes all alone.

As he still hates certain software with a passion and is a believer of performed electronic music, the only fixed pieces one can find are edited or raw performance takes. Sometimes he layers them to staggering effect.

He is part of Matter Soundpainting Collective, Laptop Orchestra and with Ofer Smilansky forms the band ATK! 
He finds writing in the third person strangely satisfying.
