Long Way Down

JUNO award-winning artists iskwē | ᐃᐢᑫᐧᐤ and Tom Wilson | Tehoh’ahake have come together in a dynamic and soulful pairing. Their performances are magical, with chemistry and playfulness knitting together an Americana infused vibe. They have released two tracks on Red Music Rising: a cover of Tom’s song “Blue Moon Drive” (2020) and “Starless Nights” released in June 2021. 

The pair's collaborative journey began in March 2020 when they performed at the Indspire Awards.“It was the luck of being asked to perform together by other folks that brought us together," says iskwē.  "We had never sung together so until we actually stepped up to the microphone and started to sing we didn’t know that we had a little bit of magic going on between us," adds Tom. 

Thus began a special collaboration between two incredible artists that is part Americana, part alternative, and entirely unique.  iskwē and Tom Wilson's musical chemistry is undeniable, infectious and in high demand to be witnessed live.

iskwē and Tom had so much fun collaborating over the last year that they decided to record an EP, produced by Serena Ryder.
