Islamic Relief responds to Pakistan Floods

The play is a heart-warming musical, presented by talented learners from the Leadership College, a high school situated in the vulnerable community of Manenberg on the Cape Flats.

Breakfast Beat, 9 Aug Islamic Relief twelve for one campaign

Humanitarian agency, Islamic Relief, has begun distributing emergency food packs to families affected by Cyclone Idai, in Beira Mozambique.

The tropical storm made landfall in Mozambique on 14th March, causing catastrophic flooding and strong winds, killing 602 in the country and injuring more than 1,600 others.

Islamic Relief’s Humanitarian Coordinator Saba Mahmood is currently in Beira and shares a first hand account of conditions on the ground.

This is an update from Br Nasser Abdulkarem from Islamic Relief's Yemen mission. He shares an update on the humanitarian situation on the ground on Taiz city. 

Four year old Islamic Relief rights holder, Hashem, was shot and killed by crossfire outside his home in central Taiz. 

He was part of Islamic Relief’s orphan sponsorship programme, with our teams supporting his mother and four siblings financially for almost a year to ensure that they could afford basics like food and medicine.
