Introducing Sofiane Vial
This edition features Sofiane Vial, a DJ and producer whose journey spans the French Alps to Ibiza, with countless stops across Europe’s most vibrant dance floors. From intimate villa sessions in Ibiza to major festivals and international club residencies, Sofiane’s sound has evolved into a refined blend of breaks, minimal beats, and rolling house grooves.

Starting his career in techno, he quickly rose through the ranks, performing at I LOVE TECHNO Festival in Montpellier alongside luminaries like Tale of Us, Anfisa Letyago, and Âme. His deep digging and global travels have shaped a distinctive style—energetic, groove-driven, and rich in personality. Now, with over two years of residency at Why Not? in Zanzibar, he has shared the decks with leading artists, including a historic 4-hour b2b with Liquid Earth. For Sofiane, music is more than sound—it’s therapy, an energy exchange that connects him deeply with his audience.

Saudi selector and LYMM co-founder, Majid has become integral in the Middle East community. He has grown in tandem with cultural happenings in Saudi Arabia and further afield where appearances at the likes Club der Visionaere, Studio Stereo, Soundscapes, Fabrika Festival, and closer to home, the Beast House series are becoming the norm for Majid. 

Having performed at our last two Saudi editions alongside Beast House, Majid exemplified the deeper aspects of house and techno while still keeping things fresh. We couldn't wait to welcome him to our mix series and he has delivered a recording that doubles down on the impact of these live performances. Shimmering deep house bleeds effortlessly into dub flecked percussive numbers, and with the mix peppered with attitude soaked vocals this mix slaps as much at dawn as it does at dusk.

IULY.B continues to make waves among minimal enthusiasts worldwide. Known for his crisp yet bold groove patterns and deep percussive spirit, he delivers hypnotic DJ sets that keep dancefloors moving.

With releases on FUSE, Visionquest, Metereze, and RORA, IULY.B has become a key figure in the new Romanian wave, his records regularly championed by underground heavyweights. He’s also shared decks with Cosmjn, Sublee, and Vlad Caia, showcasing his refined selection and vibrant energy across Europe and South America.

This mix marks his fourth appearance featuring his music on MEOKO, reaffirming his close connection with the platform and his steady rise in the minimal scene.
