For our 5th and final instalment of 2024, we go directly to the UK with two producers with a promising musical journey ahead. The A side features Manchester's, Matthew Hartshorn, and the B side comes from London's, Jay Gadian. All tracks for different occasions but following the same path to the dance floor. A record born out of pure collaboration.

And another! One Eye Witness rounds up 4 more acts to deliver the latest instalment of their V/A series, WITNESS07. The EP brings together names from across Europe: here fresh faces — the likes of Bristol’s JoeLy — rub shoulders with more established dancefloor exponents such as SameSame from Germany and Rome’s Christopher Ledger, all utilising the hypnotic tech house aesthetic championed by O.E.W.

Young Adults’ “It’s Only Temporary” kicks the EP into gear, a perky cut loaded with bounce. The The Hague duo employ a rubbery bassline and sound palette with plenty of boing, whilst working in a playful nod to a certain 1997 Loveparade anthem. Christopher Ledger gets classy on “Change That”, its slinky, steady break keeping hips in motion whilst tricky dubwise FX swirl across the stereo field. JoeLy slows things down and reigns it in with “Transitional”: beneath the filter sweeps, a seductive, sliding acid bassline is accompanied by augmented 303 action. As punchy as it is textural, the fittingly titled “Novel End” by SameSame seems draped in gauze — delicate drones wrap the drums in a soft cocoon, offering something a little more cerebral. WITNESS07: A tech house Tour de Europe, brought to you by Amsterdam’s all-seeing eye!

One of the earliest member and co-founder of the collective produced for us a 5 track EP, between Tech and Deep House vibes, filled of good sounds to add to your collection.

Cyberfly and Malware Dance both have a pushing bassline in the old school tech-house style, surrounded by trancy and computer-like fxs and deep synths reminding a flying trip in the air (for our birds out here).

Robotik Dance and Mystery Machine are both a bit more energetic in the same style as the two others.

Ninja Program is a banger break track sounding like it’s coming directly from an extreme orient country, ultra groovy and cutting edges with the scratched vocals.

Inspired by the dystopian worlds of the video games that shaped his childhood, the record reinterprets those immersive narratives through evocative atmospheres, sonic references, and a raw aesthetic that reflects the weight of confinement.
Through electronic textures and fragments of a digital past, Inclementia not only pays tribute to those universes but transforms them into a space of its own, where music becomes the only escape.

Being based between the temperate climes of Mallorca and the Asian melting pot that is Bangkok, UK artist Dojo Zone straddles many borders physically, figuratively, and musically. With releases on respected imprints like Cabaret Recordings, as well as his own labels Planetary Instinct and Espíritu Recordings, his last year has been quite a busy one.
