ARTIST BIO

Humberto Durán is a Venezuelan DJ based in Argentina. He specializes in genres such as Progressive House, Organic House, and Deep House, crafting a sonic proposal that blends the depth of hypnotic atmospheres with the vibrant energy of the dance floor. With a unique sensitivity for reading the crowd and a carefully curated musical selection, Humberto transforms each set into an introspective journey that invites both inner connection and collective movement.

His journey in music began in 2014, producing events in his home country. This early experience allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the scene and a natural connection with audience dynamics—skills he solidified when he officially launched his career as a DJ in 2023. That same year, he co-created the Possessions series alongside Benja Corbisiesi, a project aimed at offering immersive sonic experiences and bringing a fresh perspective to the electronic scene.

Inspired by icons such as Hernán Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Sasha, and John Digweed, Humberto has forged a distinctive style, characterized by sets that move between the emotional and the energetic—creating memorable sound experiences for those on the dance floor.

Currently, Humberto Durán continues to expand his presence in the electronic music scene, delivering sessions where music becomes a space to explore, resonate, and celebrate.

Let me introduce you to Electronic Groove Records (EGR) which was founded in 2017 as a natural extension of Electronic Groove, an established platform dedicated to electronic music journalism and culture.

Built on years of editorial insight and close ties within the scene, the label focuses on progressive, deep, and melodic house — music shaped by subtle rhythms, atmospheric textures, and emotional depth.

EGR follows a selective, artist-centered approach, working with both new and established producers who share a commitment to authenticity and timeless quality.
Grounded in a journalistic background, the label bridges thoughtful curation with the art of sound — always true to its ethos: “Where Music Matters.”

Electronic Groove Records

Ramiro Alvarez is a Dj and music producer born in Rosario (Arg.) on August 8th 1983. His relation with music begins when he was a child, mainly due to the fact that his grandmother, a piano teacher, introduced him into its first concepts.

Arround the year 2000 he started studying and playing drums for 6 years. In 2010, he began to mix electronic music, mostly progressive house, influenced by big international artists like Hernán Cattáneo, John Digweed , Guy J and Fernando Ferreyra, among others.

During 2019 he starts producing his first tracks also in the progressive house genre, this led him to work with labels such as The Soundgarden, Univack, UV, MNL, Transesations Récords, For Sense, One Of a Kind, Balkan Connection Records, AH Digital, 33 Degrees Fahrenheit,
Bevel Rec, Thewarehousemiami and nationals such as Moonlight and Massive Harmony.
His tracks have the support of leading progressive artists such as Hernan Cattaneo,
Nick Warren, Fernando Ferreyra, Sebastian Bustos among others.

He had the Opportunity to make his first Internactional Tour in 2024 for: Mexico,
Guatemala and Costa Rica, He got to play in events with some renowned international artists, such as Alex O’Rion, and national figures like Baunder, Mariano Mellino, and Marcelo Vasami, to name a few. Nowadays, Ramiro dedicates his time on new music productions and growing as an artist in the electronic music scene.
