We're often so good at rationally explaining and justifying our actions that we end up convincing ourselves that we had no other choice. Maybe we didn't. But the heart never forgets the eyes of the one we have betrayed. The heart never forgets. I wasn't sure if I could write this song. Finish it. Balance it. It seemed so fragile, tipped over so easily. But it was almost as if it wanted to be written, needed it. Sometimes maybe even the difficult subjects need their pop costume."

Isle of You releases "Hold Tight", Sweden's most progressive pop song 2019. A song that reflects a love that detonates. The sequel to "Change of heart" that was "Song of the week" on Swedish national radio, is about sex, chemical substances and emotional storms.

After 10 years as a soul mate, we've realized that we live by four basic values, of which the most significant is "We should always live until the heart stops". We believe that life happens when you lose control and Hold Tight is just about it.

We wanted to write something beautiful, vulnerable and sincere. About how time stands still when you wake up next to each other and in the next second reality catch up with you and the world explode in step with it.

With a feeling of We Against the World and youthful immortality, Isle of You is bubbly pop with 80's influences, about big emotions in small moments.

An unwavering friendship and pursuit of a more exciting life have taken the duo around the world. Last year, Isle of You was highlighted by SIA, when the World Star added the single Bodyguard to Team Sia's EarCandy. The song idea for Bodyguard was born after the duo played in the high security prison in Medellin, Colombia, where the audience consisted of life sentenced prisoners from the Cartel and the paramilitary.

We have always had a relationship where we push each other out over the cliff then dive in and save each other. Playing at a prison in Colombia was really that way. It is one of our most surreal experiences but also the finest. That's how we want life to be, every little while to feel.

In January, the single "Change of Heart" was named the Weekly song on P3. The music guide P3 finished the week with a maximal tribute to Isle of You, Sweden's new pop duo that flirts with the 80s and the thoughts of Madonna and Icona Pop. The single "Backseat Ceremony" rotated eight weeks on P3 on the second highest rotation and was used by Carlsberg in their launch for new taste experiences. 2018's first single received the entire 5st New Music friday lists with Spotify around the world.
