Ishmael Montague, also known as ISM or ISM Beats, was born on April 19, 1997. His musical journey began at the age of 3 when he started playing drums, eventually leading him to perform in churches and bands throughout his childhood and teenage years. After graduating from William G Enloe High School, ISM made the bold move to Los Angeles, where he achieved remarkable success in the music industry, accumulating multiple RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications and BMI awards.

Upon returning to Raleigh, ISM delved into the family real estate business, F7 Development. Here, he immersed himself in learning about residential construction project management and real estate development, expanding his skill set beyond music. ISM's passion for creativity and business acumen shine through in his dual pursuits of music production and real estate development.
