During this period we do believe that the inner and outer world needs to deep dive into the feminine energies to nourish visionary intuitions and creative solution for a better harmony life.  With this intentions our Hupupa took a flight over Paris, knocking the windows of our friend Ismētra, label and artist manager of the  Parisian collective O’Tawa. German native sister, with a worldwide heart, Julia  is mixing organic and multiethnic elements inviting to a sonorous dream, an inner journey through deep bass and intense rhythmics, felted spirits.   Behind her dj and music producer journey, Ismētra has much more to share, so we invite you to discover more about her beauties  ...

InVolo 011 | Ismētra | New Cycle

✺ The Sanskrit expression "Ishvara pranidhâna" refers to the Yoga Sûtra.
Ishvara pranidhana is the spiritual act of surrendering fully to the self and trusting in the wisdom of the divine to guide one's life and actions in order to work in the world.

In yoga, this can be exercised by practicing the asanas with a mantra and mudra, through meditation and prayer, and/or through one's actions of daily living. In yoga philosophy, one does not have to choose a personal deity of focus to practice surrender in this way, but an inspirational spiritual idea or wisdom.

This spiritual energy resides deep within every living being,
and it is the origin of everything that happens in the universe.
The formula "îshvara pranidhanâ" could thus be interpreted as a movement of the spirit, purely interior, which consists in abandoning oneself, in complete confidence, to the immensity of the living.

Ismētra - Isvāra Pranidhāna ईश्वर प्रणिधान

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one on a Sunday and the world stands still. 

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The beautiful set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one. 

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes. 

Julia aka @ismetra from our friends at @otawa-rec contacted us a while ago with the idea of making a sensual podcast and hence it was only logical to have her kick off the series, which will from now on be released every two weeks on Sunday morning. 

So grab your special person, get cosy, press play and get ready to let the love birds fly ❤️

Amidst the vibrant hues of the festival's kaleidoscopic glow, I took my place on the stage, where dreams and melodies would flow. The crowd, an ocean of euphoria, embraced the sonic tide, as I navigated through realms of sound, on this electrifying ride ! 

Under the vast expanse of the cosmic dome, my debut at Hadra Festival, a memory for me forever to be known! In the tapestry of time, where melodies linger and intertwine, I left a piece of my soul, on that stage, under Hadra's divine sign. 🙏

Relive the experience of the 14th edition of the Hadra Trance Festival by immersing yourself in the numerous sets from the mainfloor, alternative, live and chill scene.

Wākhan, founder of the parisien collective O’Tawa and Ismētra upcoming artist raised by the collective, propose you an intemporel travel through Asia.  "Tsukinowa" oscillates between organic traditional Japan grooves and ambiant downtempo elements. The french duo combined all this influences after a long research of different traditional sounds of Japan and got inspired of the name from an old buddhistic temple located near Mount Atago in the District of Uy-ku in Kyoto. « Tsukinowa » is the first track released by the young couple.

Meet Ismētra, a captivating DJ artist born and raised within the Parisian collective and label O'Tawa.

Ismētra's passion for music, multicultural experiences, and spiritual empowerment ignited a dream within her. She found her place within the collective by organizing events, managing the record label O'Tawa Records, and crafting stunning spiritual collage artwork for the collective and its partners.

The story of Ismētra's musical journey begins in Ukraine, where this native German, accompanied by her French comrades @wakhanbv & @kaob, explored the international Downtempo scene. In 2019, she launched her first musical productions, setting the stage for her unique style.

Ismētra's music is a mesmerizing fusion of organic and multiethnic elements. Her compositions invite listeners on a sonorous dream and inner journey, guided by deep bass and intense rhythms that evoke a sense of serenity.

Ismētra's talent has graced numerous events, including renowned festivals like Ozora Festival, Hadra Festival, Isis Garden & Kamiwaza Festival. She also made her mark at esteemed venues and collectives, such as the Hédoné stage for the Wuza collective, Château Perché Festival, Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, Wanderers in Berlin, Amapola, and Son Libre Festival.
