Vendex is a dj and producer born in Barcelona. He began to mix at the age of 14 to 15 years and began to produce in 2016 various genres and subgenres of electronic music. He is now focused on techno, specifically in the Dark, Industrial, Acid and Hard Techno.
During the summers he grew up in Ibiza, since he has family on the island, thanks to this he had at his disposal many artists and genres with different influences.

Today he has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness.
Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to alchemy, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural , reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld.

For this Podcast we invite Noneoftheabove with their “Straight forward techno”, which is as how they describe their sound themselves, better even is to throw in hardcore, industrial, acid, and one of their main sources of inspiration: schranz.

If last year was about tightening their output, focusing on exploring new production ground together, this year is about preparing new singles and remixes for Noneoftheabove, unveiling a new (more genre strict) label, as well as readying new artists for TheAbove Records. Together with D.Carbone, they also form the production/DJ-act The Executioners, working more spontaneously in the studio, recording live to create a more powerful and noisy sound.

An ecstatic chase between distressing and luminous atmospheres where broken rhythms, elements of industrial noise and acid converge in a liberating and enjoyable clubbing, sentimental and raw.

Cassie will also be part of the new upcoming agency launched by the Possession crew later this year.



Cassie’s words about the mix:
Intense and fast race - trance, metal and animal vibes with fewer voices than usual for a more introspective set. Matching my current emotions from this sick sad world, this set is like a long hard road with pitfalls and anxiety-provoking moments.
But still, hope.
A way to express, through music, my anger, fears and demons regards to the crisis and move forward, hope it hits you right in the stomach.
